In memory of Nelson Alexander Odt 11-13-1984 / 8-21-2009

 Nelson Alexander Odt passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 21, 2009, in a non-alcohol related single-vehicle collision when his Subaru left the edge of a dark, shoulder-less roadway in Truckee California. Alex was employed at the Tahoe Forest Hospital & the Tahoe Donner Golf Course. Al lived by the motto life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated. He loved downhill skiing with a passion and cherished skiing the powder on a Lake Tahoe “bluebird day.” He also enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing and playing on the local Truckee kickball and softball teams. Another one of his passions was underground hip-hop, whether it was going to a show or spinning his turn tables; it was the soundtrack to his life. Alex will be remembered for his spirit for life, great sense of humor, and love for his family and friends. Alex was greatly loved by many and will be deeply missed.
